Leadership

David Mitchell, President & Co-founder

David is a co-founder of NovaPoint Group LLC and has 20 years of experience with leading organizations on 5 continents delivering high-performance business solutions. He has held sales, marketing, and technology leadership roles with Quaero, Infor/TriSyn Group, Fiserv, Old Kent Financial, LEVEL5 and Yamaha Corporation of America. Mr. Mitchell has an MBA from the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University and a Bachelors degree from The University of Michigan. He was a fellowship award recipient at the Washington Campus Program in Washington, DC. He has held board positions in the American Marketing Association’s West Michigan Chapter, and is a former member of SCIP (Society of Competitive Intelligence) and WARIA (Workflow and Reengine ering International Association). He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children.

D.P. Hicks, Co-founder

D.P. is a co-founder of NovaPoint Group LLC and has focused his 15 year career on providing valuable benefits to his customers. He has held technology and sales positions in large multi-national firms like DHL and Harland Clarke as well as smaller firms like Vastera (Ford Motor Corp’s outsourced international trade division) and LEVEL5. Early on in his career he developed management and finance skills at Comerica Bank. Mr. Hicks holds a Business Administration degree from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration. D.P. is an active volunteer with the March of Dimes, American Red Cross, and American Youth Soccer League. He lives in Fort Gratiot, MI with his wife and three children.
